RCube Hauts de France is launched with the support of the City of Lille
At Lille City Hall, the Federation for Reuse and Repair,Rcube.org, is launching its Hauts-de-France regional branch on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., to promote the region and bring together stakeholders in reuse, recycling, and reconditioning.
With the support of the City of Lille, the local branch aims to participate in local events, create joint projects, and bring together local stakeholders to represent them at the national level, such as The Inter-Sectoral Commission for Reuse (CIFREP), which structures the reuse, recycling, and repair sectors; the Commission Copie Privée, the Conseil National de l’Économie Circulaire, L’Observatoire du Réemploi, and the Comité de Suivi to discuss the new sustainability index.
For example, Rcube participated in La Grande Braderie de Lille to present the exhibition Le Réemploi dans Tous Ses États (www.lereemploidanstoussesetats.org) and give demonstrations on how to repair electronic equipment (see photos).
This event is part of Lille's Roadmap for the Circular Economy commitments, particularly Priority 1 – Anchoring the circular economy in the Lille region – Creating synergies between local stakeholders.
Those involved in reuse, repair, and recycling in the region are cordially invited to attend an event onWednesday, October 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at City Hall (Place Augustin Laurent), Salle Erro, with the notable participation of Mr. Julien Pilette, elected representative for the circular economy.
